Indicator overview
What this indicator does.
The indicator calculates the NSE opening range and plots its high and low as reference levels for the rest of the session. Its default setup uses 09:15–09:30 IST for range building and 09:30–15:30 IST for breakout monitoring.
Traders can review earlier opening ranges, display an optional range box and midpoint, and follow the current state through a compact dashboard. The session, timezone, colours and number of historical ranges can all be adjusted.
Signal confirmation
- Candle Close confirms only after a bar closes beyond the opening-range boundary.
- Crossing Bar responds when price trades through the boundary without waiting for the candle to close.
